Step 1

Inspection of built-in fittings and sealed penetrations

Main drains, return inlets, vacuum points, skimmers, counter-current systems and spa jets are all checked as part of the diagnosis. In many cases, pool leaks are caused by watertightness issues affecting these fittings, such as worn seals, cracked pipework caused by excessive pressure, or seals that have been incorrectly fitted or compressed.

Step 2

Assessment of the plant room valves and equipment

A potential leak may also originate in the plant room. The issue can come from the pump, for example, where a worn seal may be allowing water to escape. As part of our diagnosis, we inspect the seals, pipework and shut-off valves to assess the overall condition of the system.

Step 3

Assessment of the pool pipework

We carry out pressure testing on all pool pipework, including submerged lines. If a pipe is found to be leaking, we can pinpoint the exact location of the fault, allowing your renovation works and budget to be adjusted accordingly.

Step 4

Detailed office-based review and report issued within 48 hours

If you are a pool professional, the report can be used as a technical guide to carry out the appropriate corrective works on leaking pipework. If you are a private owner, you can pass this report on to your pool contractor so that the necessary repairs can be completed before the full renovation of your pool begins.
